Saint Motel Robbed

. (PR) Saint Motel, an emerging, indie-pop band from Los Angeles, CA, discovered their van had been robbed Sunday afternoon, October 18, 2009 between 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM while on tour in Chicago, IL. The thieves smashed one of the van's windows and stole an electric bass, an acoustic guitar, iPods, a laptop, food and one of the member's dirty laundry, while the band was taping an in-studio performance at JBTV.

Fortunately, this isn't a major setback for Saint Motel considering only incidentals were stolen. "They didn't get our main equipment which is the life blood of the band." Says lead singer A/J Jackson.

"We are planning on performing vigilante justice on those involved but for now we just want to rock CMJ." Local police have reviewed surveillance cameras and were able to obtain the license plate of the thieves' vehicle.

Chicago was just one stop along Saint Motel's three week US tour, which includes October 20, 21, 22 and 23 in New York City for the College Music Journal's (CMJ) Music and Film Festival.
