For Bottesini's second release Paul Riola has employed some of the finest improvisers from the Denver area including CacheFlowe, Glenn Taylor (Glenn Taylor Orchestra), and Janet Feder (Fred Frith). He then augmented the ensemble with Guitar legend Nels Cline (Wilco, The Nels Cline Singers) and renowned bassist from San Francisco Keenan Wayne (Sutro).
The album was recorded in a single afternoon and entirely improvised. "The last track called TaylorClineFeder stands out as a gorgeous improvisation by the musicians in the song's title." says David Kurtz, owner of Bocumast Records. "Its as if they have been playing together for years."
