Z-Trip's Revolution features specialty artwork created by Shepard Fairey, renowned contemporary artist, graphic designer and illustrator. Fairey's work exploded into the American psyche with the iconic Barack Obama "HOPE" poster during the 2008 U.S. presidential election. The Smithsonian, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, New York's Museum of Modern Art, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London all include Fairey's work in their collections.
Z-Trip's Revolution begins at Rain Nightclub on Friday, Oct. 16, 2009. DJ Z-Trip will spin on the following dates with select nights featuring cutting edge collaborations with other musicians and DJs (TBA): Oct. 30 (with special guest, DJ P); Nov. 6; Nov. 13 (with special guest, MSTRKRFT); Dec. 4; Dec. 31; Jan. 8; Jan. 22; Feb. 5; and Feb. 26.
Celebrity guest DJs will fuel the pulse with their own unique mash-ups at Z-Trip's Revolution on Oct. 23 - Will.I.Am; Nov. 20 - Jazzy Jeff; Nov. 27 - DJ Skribble; and Dec. 11 - DJ Vice.
