Chosen by Alternative Press as one of the 100 Bands You Need To Know in 2009, the band has spent the past year supporting their debut EP Settle The Score touring with Amber Pacific, The Friday Night Boys, around the country several times and appearing at Bamboozle Left.
Originally spawned from San Diego State University's infamous party scene, FIGHT FAIRs members came together with a wide range of influences from pop-punk, screamo, hip-hop, hardcore, emo and more. Lead vocalist Alex Bigman describes the bands sound as uplifting and positive while maintaining the aggressive sound we grew up with." Taking influences from early 1960s surf pop rock and traditional '70s powerpop punk for the full length, Bigman states, "don't be surprised to hear some Beach Boys style harmonies; no one will be able to compare it to anything else."
