Make It Land serves up a variety of original tunes, ranging from upbeat acoustic pop to thoughtful indie folk in a way that honors the spirited ups and downs of everyday life. Clinebell's second album features ten tracks of laid-back rock music showcasing his melodic core as follow up to Stomping Grounds, which was released on SP&G Records in 2008.
For this recording, Clinebell meticulously assembled his team. All the songs and lyrics were written by the singer/songwriter. Performers on the album were John Clinebell (lead vocals and acoustic guitar), Aram Arslanian (electric guitar, acoustic guitar, percussion, keyboards, and background vocals), John Wolf (drums and Mellotron) and Sarah Arslanian (background vocals on "The Best of Yours"). The album was produced and mixed by Aram Arslanian.
From the House of Blues Sunset Strip main stage to the ArtsPalooza studio, from Oregon Institute of Technology and San Diego State University to Los Angeles bars and coffee houses on the west side, John is quickly gaining a reputation as a stellar performer, who simply enjoys what he does, does it well, helps others, remains humble, and strives to take his abilities to the national stage.
