(PR) Taintstick, featuring Sirius XM Radio host Jason Ellis and Good Charlotte's Benji Madden, charted at #120 on the Billboard Top 200 this week with their debut album "6lbs of Sound". Taintstick's album outsold new albums from Carly Simon, Weird Al, and Devendra Banhart this week to make their musical presence felt.

"Number 120 on Billboard Top 200 baby! Boom! OK, so we're gonna just take a mulligan on the whole Sting holiday album challenge thing. Past-their-prime pop stars, Taintstick can handle, but when you add Wal-Mart Christmas-shopping impulse-buying grandmas to the has-been mix, well, that's a potent commercial cocktail. Kudos to Trans-Siberian Orchestra (#4) for handing Sting (#5) his sleigh bell and candy cane loving ass,," commented Cowf***er. "Luckily, Taintstick has disposed of the real enemy: Carly Simon (#134). Trying to see you, Carly, all the way down there, 14 big spots below us. But it's not working out for us. Weird Al (#178), we're sorry it had to come to this. Devendra Banhart (#139), hang your head in shame. Jesus man - even Carly Simon beat you. Just wait 'til everyone sees the sweet video we cooked up for 'Monkeys of War'! Viva La Taint!"

Taintstick are currently putting the final touches on their new video for "Monkeys of War", which is expected to surface in the coming weeks. For now video footage of Ozzy Osbourne bassist Blasko performing "Crazy Train" at Taintstick's sold-out CD release party at Wasted Space in Las Vegas, NV has been Posted online - here
