Hatcham Social Announce Two U.S. Tours

. (PR) The UK's Hatcham Social announces their first two US tours today. Starting June 18, the band will be playing a short run of shows in New York and Boston with bands The Pains of Being Pure At Heart, The Maccabees and Other Lives. The band comes back in early September for a longer tour opening up for the legendary Charlatans.

Hatcham Social will be on tour supporting their debut album You Dig The Tunnel, I'll Hide The Soil which will be coming out on June 16 digitally and physically on July 7 through tbd records, the same label as Radiohead in the States.

The edgy yet melodic album owes a lot of debt to the sound of the 1980's Glaswegian indie label Postcard Records which launched the careers of bands like Orange Juice, The Go Betweens and Aztec Camera. Hatcham Social's album was produced by Jim Spencer and The Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess.
