The video, directed by Lisa Mann, was shot at Linda Vista Hospital in Los Angeles, CA, and is centered on the narrative of front man Bert McCracken's obsession with a serial killer in a small town. Intercut with performance, the twisting narrative follows Bert's increasing rage as he tracks the killeror maybe a victimand the line between hunter and hunted becomes blurred.
Starting today, MySpace and TheUsed.net will be exclusively streaming the Band Cut of the "Blood On My Hands" video, which features extra scenes and is unwavering in its intensity. The song itself, which guitarist Quinn Allman describes as the song that "sums up everything about The Used," is confined chaos, brutally thrashing one moment and proffering a pop-driven, sing-along chorus the next. It premiered on iTunes June 30th and sold over 5k downloads in the first day and over 12k in the first week, the highest digital debut ever for the band. - more on this story
