"We're very excited to align with a record label that has so much momentum and is growing when many seem to be faltering, dropping bands and firing employees. Rise continues to grow. We've been a band for a decade and we wanted to be with someone who is enthusiastic about Bleeding Through and is in a position to help us continue to grow and progress as well.
"A lot of labels, managers and agents carry these egos as if they are the most important part of the equation. It's all about what the bands can do for them, to advance their interests, instead of the other way around. We had a lot of serious interest from several labels, many of whom we get along with. But we felt like Rise is the best fit for us because they are excited about our band and our music first and foremost."
Rise Records president Craig Ericson had this to say about the signing: "We are beyond excited to work with Bleeding Through. We've been huge fans ever since their release on Indecision Records. Having Bleeding Through in the family is a dream come true. We both share extreme passion for music and can't wait to show the world what we can achieve together as a team."
Bleeding Through tentatively plans to record the followup to "Declaration" in early 2010.
