Originally released in 1993, The Ethereal Mirror was Cathedral's breakthrough album, spawning two hit MTV music videos for the tracks "Midnight Mountain" and "Ride". The album has been reissued on DualDisc, featuring the album on one side of the disc and a bonus 40-minute documentary DVD on the other side.
The documentary, titled "Ethereal Reflections", features interviews with key early band members, including long-standing duo Lee Dorrian and Garry Jennings as well as an interview with famed cover artist Dave Patchett, as they explore the formation of Cathedral, the recording of The Ethereal Mirror and the growth of the band from their humble beginnings to a major label deal.
Also included with The Ethereal Mirror is a bonus disc with three additional tracks from the long-deleted Statik Majik EP, plus a free artwork poster, all housed in a deluxe digipak.
