This will be the 4th year the band has played the festival, the first back in 2004 before they signed to Capitol Records or recorded their critically acclaimed 2006 self-titled debut album. California fans will have a chance to see Saosin live before Warped Tour when they play the Bamboozle Left festival on April 5th in Irvine, CA.
June will be a busy month for Saosin as they will also release their new studio album which Alternative Press magazine has already named one of the most anticipated albums of 2009.
"We've always been stoked to be a part of Warped Tour and can't wait to play songs from the new record for all the kids that come out this year," said frontman Cove Reber.
Saosin have become road warriors over the last few years, touring the world relentlessly since the release of their first EP, 2003's Translating the Name. They have played 3 Vans Warped tours, 3 Rockstar Taste of Chaos tours, 2007's Projekt Revolution tour plus multiple headlining treks and supporting outings with such bands as AFI, Avenged Sevenfold, My Chemical Romance, Incubus, Taking Back Sunday, Underoath and many others. They've played gigs in Australia, Japan, Jakarta, Indonesia, Bali and Singapore. In that time, they've released 2 EP's, their debut full-length and Come Close, a live CD/DVD set.
