Four years later, that ripple has turned into a tsunami. Their debut album Frenzy (released earlier this month on The End Records) crashed on the media's desks and splashed all over their editorial. National city portal Metromix says, "not a single bit like 'Biohazard meets Kittie... the sounds created here are both unexpected and dynamic." Frantik Magazine raves, "Melodic in every piece of sense, even when the music gets tough like snakeskin, Frenzy somehow always finds its way back to the melody and groove, making for great songs." New York Post adds that "the band parties it up just as hard as metal bands do."
While initial wave of the album release may have leveled everything in its path, the band's most powerful impact - their live show - is yet to come. A tour has just been announced and the waves should be crashing into cities nationwide any minute.

Conceived when Biohazard vocalist/guitarist Billy Graziadei met Karl Bernholtz, vocalist of the south Florida band The Groovenics, Suicide City took shape with the addition of drummer Danny Lamagna (who had been recommended by members of Sworn Enemy), Groovenics guitarist AJ Marchetta, and former Kittie bassist Jennifer Arroyo. Becoming a unified and formidable force, the band toured with the likes of Otep, Taking Back Sunday, Gwar, Danzig, Life of Agony, Birthday Massacre, Mindless Self Indulgence, Despairs Ray, MXPX, Mushroomhead, and others, and gained a reputation for consistent and energetic touring and being able to keep up (if not outshine) the bands with whom they've shared the stage.
Karl sums it up best: "Suicide City thrives on making people happy and smile through our music without having to candy coat anything. Life does not 'suck and then you die.' Life is great, dangerous, exciting, strange, and then you die. I guess that's what we're trying to portray with our music."
