Cityview, which had conducted a number of interviews with artists that were scheduled to take part in the event and had a cover story ready to go to press, has forwarded a statement to HeadbangerNYC.com from Dana Young, a managing member of Rock Gone Wild, an Iowa-based limited liability company, in which Dana says, "I . . . was informed on August 5, 2009, by email from legal counsel representing Diamond Jo Casino, that: quote-unquote, 'the event cannot take place anywhere on the licensed premises.'"
The Rock Gone W1ld organizers announced last month that the festival was being moved from Freedom Park in Algona to The Diamond Jo Casino in Northwood.
