Avril Lavigne Releases Live DVD was a top story for this week. Here it is again: (PR) Avril Lavigne released "The Best Damn Tour" Live DVD yesterday (September 9th, 2008). Recorded at her sold out April 7, 2008 concert at the Air Canada Center in Toronto, and directed by Wayne Isham (Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan, Sheryl Crow), the DVD features live performances of hits such as "Girlfriend," When You're Gone," "Complicated" and "Sk8er Boi."

The Best Damn Thing, released in April 2007, is already certified platinum in the U.S. and has sold over 5 million copies worldwide. Now fans can watch the record come to life on the live DVD.

We're not sure what in the hell this has to do with the DVD but the PR included additional news that the one chord wonder recently launched her clothing line, Abbey Dawn, which is available exclusively at Kohl's stores nationwide and will be launching her fragrance with Proctor and Gamble in 2009.
