And that touch has never been more fully realized than on these 11 tracks. Moore's playing has reached a crystalline perfection, rare in any artist. He seems to lose himself in the material to the point where all-out feel dominates the proceedings. And when it comes to the blues, feel is all.
This great musicianwho has worked beside the late Phil Lynott as the lead guitarist for Thin Lizzyhas learned his lessons well. Raised on a steady diet of Elvis, Hendrix and Mayall as a youth, and mentored by Fleetwood Mac's Peter Green (to whom he paid tribute on 1995's Blues For Greeny), Moore has performed in such bands as Colosseum II, Skid Row (not the American band of the same name) and Traveling Wilburys (for which he added a tasty solo for "She's My Baby"). He's also collaborated with Greg Lake and a host of other internationally known rockers who always seem to gravitate towards him due to his reputation of being a "musician's musician." In 1990, Albert King, Albert Collins and George Harrison performed on his Still Got The Blues album.
Bad For You Baby continues the string of solid blues-rock albums he recorded for Eagle Records with his Old New Ballads Blues in 2006, continuing with Close As You Get in 2007.
