"Past Lives"- Traveling the world playing music is something I never thought I would do. This song was written in Europe last year. Its part homesick and part sick of home. When you live on the road it can create a home life of constantly putting the pieces back together.
It originated from a poem I wrote while driving thru Germany. Cities divided into each other, and I felt like I was being reborn. The guitar sound is larger than life on this song. When I hear that opening riff I transcend right back to that tour. Right back to my seat staring out the window at the European countryside. Right back to that poem. Telling myself to Slow down, because there are some things I was never meant to figure out.
