The tour will hit major venues across the country, including two nights in Bretts hometown of San Francisco (The Fillmore) and two nights in Los Angeles (House of Blues). He will be joined by Erin McCarley (1/16 1/31), Angus & Julia Stone (3/2 4/4) with additional artists to be announced. Tickets go on sale Saturday, 11/22.
Brett will perform Make You Crazy on Good Morning America Weekend on Nov. 15th and the video can be seen on AOLs music sites. The songs state of the world message is sweetened by an infectious, up-tempo melody. In the video, Brett and actress/singer Mandy Moore take an ironic stab at trends and reveal how happiness comes from being true to yourself a description that fits this free-spirited, guitar-playing songwriter to a tee.
Brett Dennens Hope For The Hopeless (Dualtone/Downtown Records) debuted as the #4 Independent Album, the #6 Digital Album and at #41 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. The first single, Make You Crazy is a Top Ten hit at tastemaker AAA stations across the country and features Nigerian Afro-beat legend, Femi Kuti.
