Interest in Farrell's song has led to plans for a vampire inspired video in keeping with the movie's theme (details to be announced).
The song will be featured in a key scene of the movie and will appear on the soundtrack, to be released by Atlantic Records on November 4.
Twilight director, Catherine Hardwicke, ("Lords of Doggtown") a longtime fan of Farrell's work, approached him about working on a song for the film. "Go All The Way" was produced by Atticus Ross (NIN) and mixed by Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, U2) and the result is a tumultuous Dance/Rock/Alt track.
The former frontman for Jane's Addiction, Perry Farrell helped redefine the Rock scene of the early 90's with the band's larger-than-life amalgam of punk, metal, indie, prog and folk rock that lit a fuse in LA's underground that spread around the world. The band played their final show in 1991 at Lollapalooza. The festival, which Farrell co-founded, redefined the touring industry by presenting a mash-up bill of artists from different genres. As solo artists, the members of Jane's Addiction continued to pursue individual creative interests until raising eyebrows with a 2008 performance at the N.M.E. Awards, where they accepted the "Godlike Genius Award" seventeen years after their last show.
