. Godsmack, Sevendust and Alter Bridge Tour was a top story for this week. Here it is again: (Blabbermouth) Godsmack, Sevendust and Alter Bridge are teaming for a summer tour that will start sometime in July. The trek has not been officially confirmed yet, and no dates or cities have been announced.

The tour would mark a change in plans for Godsmack, which went on hiatus at the end of last year after touring for much of 2006 and 2007 behind its "IV" album.

Singer Sully Erna planned to work on a solo record, while the other members of the group released a CD under the name Another Animal. - more on this story
