Gigwise has some more details: Sixty-two-year-old Ola Brunkert played with the band on their first single 'People Need Love' and toured with them in 1977, 1979 and 1980. He is the only musician, alongside bassist Rutger Gunnarsson, to be credited on all of the group's albums, and retired to Majorca after the break-up of the band twenty-five years ago.
The BBC reports that police believe Brunkert hit his head on a glass window on Sunday afternoon, sustaining fatal neck wounds from broken glass. He managed to wrap a towel around his neck and stagger through the garden in search of help before collapsing. - Read the full Gigwise story
