(Blabbermouth) Drummer Derek Roddy (ex-HATE ETERNAL, NILE) has left TODAY IS THE DAY as a result of an apparent financial dispute with the group's mainman Steve Austin.

Derek has reportedly been replaced on the band's current tour by Mike Rosswog (CIRCLE OF DEAD CHILDREN, COMPLETE FAILURE).

TODAY IS THE DAY's eighth studio album, "Axis of Eden", was released last September on SuperNova Records, the label founded by Steve Austin. - more on this story
