(BBC) Singer George Michael has signed a multi-million pound deal to write his autobiography, it has been announced.

Publisher HarperCollins said Michael, 44, would write the book - due for release in the autumn - "entirely himself" without a ghost writer.

"George has promised HarperCollins a no-holds-barred biography, and it's certain to be just that," Michael's manager Andy Stephens said. - more on this story
