The more progressive Beating Back At You Vol 1 will feature the new song "Roux" and a dub remix of "Not Enough" featuring Willoughby and Nicole Morier of Electrocute from the album. Beating Back At You Vol 2 is more techno with versions of "Prevent Confusion" for Beatport and "Zage" from Booming Back At You.
Around the same time, Artwerk Music will also issue the album's second single, "Cities In Dust," a high-voltage Siouxsie and the Banshees cover. Details will be unveiled at a later date. The song follows the international club smash "More" (also featuring vocals by Lauren Rockit) which Playboy magazine tapped in their February issue 'Hot Tunes' list, "A return to form: banging electro and a girl shouting 'F*** More.'"
Leading up to the release of Booming Back At You, Junkie XL is confirmed for three high-profile appearances: SXSW at Vice Friday, March 14, the ULTRA Music Festival on Friday, March 28 and the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival Saturday, April 26. A national tour is being planned for the months of April and May, for which details will be announced soon.
