(antiMusic) Apple snagged U2 for a special edition iPod and now Microsoft has enlisted Kenna for a special edition Zune player. We're not very familiar with Kenna, but apparently U2's 'Joshua Tree' inspired Kenna to get into music and Kenna's debut enjoyed some moderate sales according to wikipedia. But for the diehard Kenna fan, this Zune player seems like a must have. Here is the 411 from the PR company: Zune has teamed with the artist Kenna to produce a black 4GB custom Zune media player featuring an original piece of art designed by Kenna and Jeff McMillan called "The Translator."

The artwork is engraved on the back of the player and the devices are numbered and limited to 200 pieces. The custom player is also loaded with the "Say Goodbye to Love" video (directed by Hype Williams), and Kenna's full album "Make Sure They See My Face."

Through a promotion in conjunction with Interscope Records and Kenna's single "Say Goodbye to Love," radio listeners at ten different stations can tune in on Valentine's Day and have a chance to win one of the custom devices. Each winner also receives an exclusive poster based upon the original artwork. "The Zune vision incorporates community and relationships allowing us to share the things we love. Music is one of the things we love. I am excited to share that vision," says Kenna. - more on this story
