(Contact Music) An impromptu outdoor BLACK FRANCIS concert was stopped by police in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday (09Feb08) after officials became concerned about overcrowding.

Pixies star Francis - also known as Frank Black - was playing to 1,000 fans at St. Stephen's Green when cops halted the gig and escorted the rocker offstage. - more on this story
