Slipknot Booed

. (Blabbermouth) According to AngryApe, a Slipknot stunt at the Leeds Festival for the band's upcoming UK tour didn't go down well with music fans at the weekend event.

While Dropkick Murphys were playing their afternoon slot yesterday (August 22), a plan flew over the stage dangling a banner with "Slipknot UK tour tickets on sale."

The crowd, clearly not happy that the masked rockers had pulled out of the festival, began to boo at the banner advert.

Slipknot was forced to cancel several European festival appearances as well as performances for MTV Europe and Virgin TV after drummer Joey Jordison broke his ankle. - more on this story
