The follow-up to her 2006 album "Alright, Still" (Regal/Parlophone) is due at some point in the fourth quarter or early next year. The as-yet-untitled record will be issued on Capitol in the U.S.
"It has been finished for a while now, I don't really know what's going on with it," said Allen in a posting on MySpace. "The record industry is a very political place at the moment and I am on EMI Records.
