Wednesday night's telecast lost 700,000 viewers from the previous week and had the lowest ratings among 18-49 year-olds in five years. Last week 23.3 million people tuned in for the results show but this week the number dropped to 22.6 million.
Still an insane amount of viewers but the ratings have been sliding all year as it looks like more and more Americans are tuning out.
