When we heard about this album finally being released, we fired off an email to ask Billy to give us the lowdown on some of his favorite tracks. A few hours later he came through in a big way. So here is Billy to discuss his favorite tracks from Stimulator!
DRIVING ME MAD: Another big chorus song, its about hanging out in clubs (one in particular in London called the Electric Ballroom) and seeing the same old faces doing the same old things that they have been doing for years.....not a lot really!! I found myself going to places and hating every minute because all these faces would be asking me the same thing every week. And then it dawned on me......don't go to the f***ing place anymore!! Easy. It's still very much the same thing these days - the names of the clubs change, but the same people sit in the same booths snorting the same cocaine and shagging the same chicks. A dead existence! And I love the lyrics in the chorus - "The freaks are running around my feet. I got no use for the people I meet. You're driving me mad - just leave me alone".... relate?
The CD is out now digitally on iTunes and limited edition hard copy CD is available exclusively from - www.billymorrison.net
