Homo-Centric Fuzz Rock Cumming in May

(PR) After months of foreplay, false starts and rumoured release dates, Edmonton's marching-band-cum-garage-sqaud The Wet Secrets will officially release their debut record, "Rock Fantasy", May 13.

Already a solid fixture at Alberta college radio, 2008's winner of "Best Song Title" on CBC Radio 3 for "Grow Your Own ----ing Moustache, a-hole", and a local press favourite in Calgary and Edmonton, topping Best Of lists for Vue, FFWD and See, the Wet Secrets are poised to spread their gritty-ditties cross-Canada.

Formed in 2005 after the emergence of a racy photograph and a box of old marching band uniforms prompted them to write and record an album in seven days, The Wet Secrets cobbled together their first live show and released the haphazardly magical 'Whale of a Cow' album. And they did it all in one week.

Many weeks later, The Wet Secrets are up to bat with their new disc, "Rock Fantasy" a melange of original tracks, new jams and remixed favourites. Tubas, paint cans and trombones poke into the mix of campy, homo-centric fuzz rock.

Since nobody likes "All Foreplay, All the Time", Rodeo Peanut Records is proud to unleash the Wet Secrets' debut, "Rock Fantasy", May 13, 2008.
