The BBC reports that 50 Cent has "temporarily postponed" his European appearances after Kanye West topped the UK charts on Sunday, and is expected to claim the number one CD in the US later this week. A spokeswoman for 50 Cent refused to comment to the BBC on his retirement plans. She said that "unforeseen circumstances" had led to the temporary postponement of his tour.
Now that his 15 minutes of fame are quickly ticking away, Half a Buck just can't believe that his popularity is slipping. He is now trying to blame Kanye West's label of somehow rigging the sales numbers this week. "He's never had a fraction of the sales 50 Cent has," Fiddy whined this week according Uncut.co.uk. "They could have one scan and have it count four times. West's entire career hasn't sold half what I sold on my first album."
That was then, this is now. It's a good thing you sold so many CDs, you'll have enough to retire on.
