. (PR) Lava/Atlantic recording group Simple Plan will make their long-awaited return next week with the world premiere of their first new music in more than two years. The multi-platinum certified band will debut their new single, "When I'm Gone," with a special live video event on Monday, October 29th. The webchat heralds Simple Plan's eagerly anticipated third studio album, due to arrive on January 29th, 2008.

Slated for 6pm EDT/3pm PDT at Simple Plan's official site, www.simpleplan.com, the "When I'm Gone" world premiere event will also see the Montreal-based band divulging exclusive details of their upcoming new album and taking questions from die-hard fans around the world.

"When I'm Gone" will go on sale via iTunes in conjunction with the webchat, with an option to pre-order Simple Plan's new album through Lala.com and receive the digital single for free. In addition, the "When I'm Gone" ringtone will be made available at simpleplan.com. "When I'm Gone" will then go on sale at all DSPs, beginning Tuesday, October 30th. - more on this story
