. (Filter) Mars Volta composer/guitarist Omar Rodriguez Lopez has confirmed a date for the release of his solo project, The Omar Rodriguez Lopez Quintet. The record, titled The Apocalypse Side Of An Orange, was recorded in 2005 while Rodriguez Lopez was living in Amsterdam will be released November 20th 2007.

The Quintet is made up of bassist Juan Alderete de la Pena, keyboardist Money Mark Ramos-Nis***a, horn player/percussionist Adrian Terrazas Gonzales, and drummer/percussionist Marcel Rodriguez Lopez.
