The Last Goodnight Week: Good Love

.
(antiMusic) This week we asked The Last Goodnight's Kurtis John to tell us about his five favorite tracks from their major label debut Poison Kiss. Today Kurtis tells about "Good Love":

Originally we started the writing process with the intention for Macy Gray to duet this song with me. Unfortunately that idea fell through early in the process, but we liked where the song was going and decided to stick with it.

Good Love allowed us to push our music in a more soulful direction for the first time. It's such a fun song to sing, and I can tell that translates well to our fans every night. When we're up there, all having fun on stage, it's really easy for the audience to relax and have fun with us, which is really what going to a concert is all about.. having fun.
