After repeatedly missing out on events because scalpers have snapped up a large chunk of the tickets and listed them on eBay at exorbitant prices, the enraged fans are actively sabotaging auctions by placing fake bids seconds before they close.
For its part, eBay says it is simply providing the market which connects buyers and sellers, blaming event promoters for not ensuring genuine fans can obtain tickets through the primary channels. - more on this story
