The sessions were two-fold: On Thursday and Friday, they rehearsed for the 13th Annual Decemberchild Benefit Concert that was held on Saturday at the Felton Community Hall in Felton, California. The proceeds from this concert were donated, as they are every year, to the Valley Churches United Missions to benefit their many programs for the needy.
Savell and Dunbar were also recording for Dunbar's upcoming, as yet untitled album set for release on SPV Records in Europe and on iTunes worldwide. Savell, who recently released his eclectic solo debut You Just Gotta Love It, appears on five of the ten songs; he also wrote the track "Tough To Beat" and co-wrote "Mourning." Dunbar is a legendary English drummer who has worked with the early lineup of Journey, Jefferson Starship, Lou Reed, John Mayall, Frank Zappa, Jeff Beck, David Bowie and Whitesnake. - tomsavell.com
