Live And Dangerous set the standard for live concert recordings and truly reflects the status of Thin Lizzy as one of rock's best live bands. The tour also dovetails the recent release of Thin Lizzy's 'Live and Dangerous ' concert on DVD. Says founding Thin Lizzy guitarist, Scott Gorham, "This album meant too much, not only to us as a band, but to our fans as well, to let the 30th anniversary of its recording pass without celebrating it in some way."
Queensrche will no longer be joining Thin Lizzy on the forthcoming UK tour. A statement from the band reads: "Queensrche is disappointed to announce the unfortunate cancellation of our upcoming tour of the United Kingdom with Thin Lizzy and other shows in Europe due to a personal emergency. We'd like to thank our loyal fans for their continued support and understanding. We are looking forward to making it up to them and are currently working on a plan to return to Europe in 2008 with a production that fans have been waiting years for!"
