Dan Bejar on the Side

. (Filter) Rock and roll romance takes its fair share of beatings but sometimes we forget the real good it can do. For instance the union of Dan Bejar (Destroyer, New Pornographers, Swan Lake) and Sydney Vermont (Bonaparte) has created Hello, Blue Roses.

The duo have announced the release of a 13 song album, set for release on January 22nd courtesy of Chicago based Locust Records.

In the meantime a few Hello, Blue Roses songs will be available on a two separate splits. One will be with Frog Eyes, set for release late December and another with Locust artist Starless and Black Bible. - more on this story
