Droid Set Release

05/14/07
.
(PR) On July 10th Droid Will Release Their Self- Titled Debut that features guest vocals by Chino Moreno Of Deftones. This five piece hailing from Long Beach, California creates a menacing sound which features rapid-fire riffs and power grooves with a violent crushing delivery. On their self-titled Emotional Syphon Recordings debut, Droid embrace a bludgeoning aesthetic that pummels and punishes. They are a cutting edge band who pushes the boundaries of heavy metal. This musical foundation is the core that allows Vocalist James Buddy Eason to channel an honest brutality that takes Droids brand of metal to soaring new heights and into a dark, violent and cathartic realm.

Droids debut marks the first release for Emotional Syphon, founded by revolutionary Korn guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer. After catching a Droid show at Hollywood's historic Whisky-A-Go-Go, Munky immediately signed the band as the label's flagship act, and they recorded their inaugural offering at Korn's Elementree Studios in Los Angeles. The sessions resulted in a volatile collection of tracks. Dont Miss Droid on Family Values this summer with Korn, Evanescence, Atreyu and more - Click here for the Full Story
