(PR) Super Geek League have announced that 10% of the profits from sales of their newly released CD, Peppermint Rainbows, will be donated to the Special Olympics. According to band founder/leader, Floyd McFeely, the project has been donating 10% of all proceeds from their career to this worthy cause since the bands inception a couple of years ago. Any income we generate from shows or recordings or merchandise we sell, weve donated ten percent to the Special Olympics.

The Special Olympics is a nonprofit organization which provides sports training and competition for people with disabilities. McFeely first became aware of them when his sister suffered a traumatic brain injury in her late 20s. I see these people whose lives are filled with challenges trying to accomplish the simplest feat and they are not allowing themselves to be held back by their disabilities. Nothing is more inspirational or deserves more respect than these people and organizations like the Special Olympics which give them a forum to achieve their goals and dreams.

Peppermint Rainbows is available for download from the Super Geek League site, www.supergeekleague.com. Along with the music consumers can also download ring tones, album artwork, lyrics, liner notes, videos and can join the league where they can create their own superhero. Not to mention, through their purchases online, helping the Special Olympics.
