Lead guitarist Kevin Shields discussed the group's reunion on Soft Focus, the VBS.TV talk show hosted by DC punk Ian Svenonius.
According to Shields, the three-fourths-completed set sounds very much like what you would expect from the Dubliners, as it picks up literally where they left off, largely consisting of songs that the band was working on when they broke up in 1995 (he and fellow Valentiner Belinda Butcher continued to work on songs into the mid-'90s).
