The ringtone was already a smash in Nielsen Ringscan's first-ever reporting week (ending September 3, 2006), and in the year that followed, has yet to drop out of the Top 30. In its 52nd week on the Ringscan chart, the ringtone is currently ranked at #23. "Crazy b*****" has been certified as a Platinum Master Ringtone by the RIAA.
"Crazy b*****" - which earned Buckcherry a Grammy Awards nomination in the "Best Hard Rock Performance" category - caused a sensation upon its initial release last year, reaching #2 at Mainstream Rock and #3 at Active Rock. A number of further rock radio hits followed, including "Next 2 You," "Broken Glass," and "Everything." The singles have all blown up online, with cumulative digital sales now approaching 1 million. The album's fifth single, "Sorry," is currently set to impact at multi-format radio outlets nationwide on September 10th.
