Some of the highlights of the evening came when Cherone and Bettencourt performed a song they had co-written with Delp. The Boston Globe reports that "Delp's post-Boston outfit with Goudreau, RTZ, gave a heartfelt performance that included a new number written after his passing called 'Set the Songbird Free.'" Then Tom Scholz, Barry Goudreau and Fran Sheehan took to the stage to cap off the event to perform their hit "Don't Look Back" in honor of Delp.
