Manilow Returns to the 70s

(PR) Barry Manilow has set the release date for his latest album. This time Barry goes back to the 70s to cover some of the hits from the disco decade. Arista will release The Greatest Songs Of The Seventies on September 18th.

Some of the big names Manilow is tributing on the album include Paul Simon, Carole King, John Lennon and Paul McCartney and Elton John. Also according to what his publicist sent over the album will also include a special unplugged set of some of Barry's own 70s hits including Mandy, I Write the Songs, Weekend in New England and Copacabana.

A special deluxe edition DualDisc will also be released. The CD side will feature four additional acoustic songs with the DVD side offering All of CD Side tracks in enhanced stereo and �The Greatest Songs Of The Seventies� video.
