Brown surrendered to police on Tuesday and was booked on charges of felony assault in the second degree, assault in the third degree, menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon. She was released after arraignment on a $5,000 bond.

The assault took place two weeks ago (July 30th). Brown reportedly got into an argument with her 25-year-old next door neighbor and ended with Brown smashing the woman's face with her BlackBerry phone. The woman was treated at nearby hospital for a swollen lip, loose teeth, and a bruised right eye.
