Both rappers will commemorate the brutal terrorist attacks on the US this September 11th by dropping their new albums on the public. In the past, Fiddy has logged more sales than Kanye, who was once pictured as Jesus on the cover of Rolling Stone, but some are predicting that the new CD "Graduation" from the biggest ego in popular music (a.k.a. Kanye) may just outsell pocket change's CD "Curtis". So Fiddy laid it all on the line and promises to quit his solo career if Kanye's "Graduation" sends him back to the 1st grade.
"Let's raise the stakes," Fiddy told SOHH.com last week. "If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I'll no longer write music. I'll write music and work with my other artists, but I won't put out anymore solo albums."
Now if we can only get Kanye to make a similar pledge and go out and by one of the other new releases hitting stores that day it will salvage a terrible year in music.
