Fox Searchlight Pictures has been working on the bio pic, entitled "Notorious," for years and have yet to find the perfect actor to play the famed rapper. So they decided that an open casting call was in order. While the official announcement won't be made until Friday, they tipped off the Associated Press about it a day early. So get your video auditions in order because submissions begin this Sunday at 3 a.m. at http://www.biggiecasting.com.
Biggie's mother, Voletta Wallace as well as his two former managers, Wayne Barrow and Mark Pitts, are producing the movie. "As it relates to the individual Christopher Wallace - his looks, his stature, what he represented, the swagger, the sensibility of the man - all those elements are very difficult to find, no matter where you go," Barrow told AP on Thursday.
They did consider Forrest Whitaker for the role but decided that the actor was just too old considering Biggie was just 24 when he was murdered. No word if Diddy will show in the film without a real purpose like he did in Biggie videos.
