The month-long "You Oughta Know" tour kicks off September 6 in Eugene, Oregon and wraps up on November 2 in Seattle, Washington, the hometown of both Brandi and Alison (see full itinerary following).
The tour will donate $.50 from every ticket sold on the fall tour to the environmental non-profit organization Reverb (www.reverbrock.org). With this donation, Reverb will help Brandi plan an environmentally sustainable tour and will offset the estimated global warming CO2 emissions from the tour with NativeEnergy by helping build new Native American and family farmer owned renewable energy projects.
The emissions offset will include venue electricity use, band vehicle travel, and fan travel to and from the shows. The CO2 reductions from this donation will be equivalent to keeping the average car from driving over 3,000,000 miles.
