The rollicking dust kicking is in continued support of their otherworldly third album Ongiara, released earlier this year on Nettwerk Records. As with their first two critically acclaimed albums (Great Lake Swimmers, 2003 and Bodies and Minds, 2005), Ongiara continues to explore the worlds of indie folk, roots music and alt-country pop with Tony Dekker's signature majestic vocal.

However, it's within their live performances that their music truly breathes. Great Lake Swimmers' live shows have become an awe inspiring, almost sacred experience, leaving an ever-growing legion of devoted followers at every performance. The upcoming tour includes marquee shows in Guelph w/ Final Fantasy & Ohbijou; and in Vancouver w/ Final Fantasy & Basia Bulat.
