Daniel Biechele, the former manager of Great White was sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to 100 counts of involuntary manslaughter. Biechele was the manager of the band at the time and lit the pyrotechnics during Great White's performance at The Station nightclub in West Warwick on February 20th, 2003. The soundproofing foam at the club ignited and spread quickly through the club. 100 people died in the fire including Great White guitarist Ty Longley.
AP reports that a four-member panel of the parole board will meet with Biechele at the state prison, according parole board chairwoman Lisa Holley. Relatives of the victims will be able to make their case at a separate hearing on September 5th.
